State of Emergency Due to Drought Conditions

On June 8, 2021 Gov. Spencer J. Cox issued his third Executive Order we are in a state of emergency due to drought conditions.  As you are aware, 100% of Utah is in a drought.  2020 was one of the hottest and driest summers on record, our snowpack was well below average this year, and soil moisture is at an all-time low.  We believe acting now is critical.  We are committed to doing our part in helping our customers conserve water.

We find it necessary to ask that starting immediately you limit watering of outside yards and gardens.  Do not water between the hours of 10:00 AM and 6:30 PM as these are the hottest hours of the day.

Now is an excellent time to review and update your watering habits and schedules as we will be increasing our overage rates very soon.
